Zoho website builder is the next tool on my list as I near in on the last few website builder reviews that I will be doing for 2013. After I finish up this initial review phase, I’ll rank them and send out props to the very best.
And then… We get to dig deeper and find out who’s really got it going on. Can’t wait!
But for now, let’s talk Zoho.
Be careful not to get confused when checking these guys out. If you go to their home page, as I first did, you will see they have a TON of other super nifty tools. You won’t see the website builder readily advertised at this point. Instead you will learn that this company has tons of online business products that look really awesome. Zoho, where have you been all my life? But I digress. Let’s just focus on the Zoho website builder.
Industry Specific?
No. This tool can be used for any industry. Zoho has plenty of designs that are very non-specific, making it easy for you to envision your content in the various layouts.
Pricing
They have a free option that will take care of most of the folks out there and then they have a $39.00/year option for the Pro plan.
Would you like some free help preparing for your site? Cool. Here’s a free download I created just for you.
Mobile?
Yep. They automatically generate a mobile version of your site for you. No extra work on your part is needed.
In What Browser Does the Website Builder Work?
They don’t say specifically. Most don’t mention this, so we’re going to assume their product works in the most recent version of the IE, FF, and Chrome. If anyone finds out otherwise, please let me know.
Search Engine Optimization?
Yes, yes, and yes. You can add your own meta information to each page, your own page title and you can connect to Google Analytics. Yay!
Blog Features?
Yes! Zoho website builder has a built-in blog platform. It allows you to moderate comments and it has social media sharing widgets built into each post. #love
Ease of Use
Zoho website builder has a lovely Features page. On this page it starts by giving you screenshots into the builder along with explanations. From what I can see, this tool looks very clean in interface design and easy to use.
Use Your Own URL?
Yes. You can register a domain with them for about $10.00/year or use one of their subdomains.
My Initial Impression
Zoho website builder has it going on, for sure! It all looks very well thought out and easy to understand. These folks truly get what is important to share to potential customers prior to signing up for an account; this was one of the easiest reviews I’ve written because everything you need to know is right there, no muss, no fuss.

Even though I made it for people who are getting ready to hire a web pro, 80% of it will help you if you are building your site on your own.
