Today I am reviewing a newer website builder, Aircus.
Industry Specific?
Just like the majority of website builders, Aircus isn’t specific to an industry. You can customize their designs to anything you do. Sadly, they mention they have three designs, but they don’t show the templates. C’mon; it’s three designs. Show us what we can work with.
Pricing
A bit of a quandary for me is their pricing structure. I can’t find anything about what it costs to use the tool on their website. Perhaps Aircus’ website builder is free for now, but it doesn’t say one way or the other. If it is free, what do they get in exchange? Do they post ads on your site? Are you limited in pages? No clue. Aircus, we need these details. Not mentioning pricing in any way makes most of us queasy.
Would you like some free help preparing for your site? Cool. Here’s a free download I created just for you.
Mobile?
Yes. Their templates are responsive in nature. So when the screen size changes, the template adjusts.
In What Browser Does the Website Builder Work?
They don’t say specifically. Most don’t mention this, so we’re going to assume their product works in the most recent version of the IE, FF, and Chrome. If anyone finds out otherwise, please let me know.
Search Engine Optimization?
Aircus’ website builder does support Google Analytics. You wouldn’t know this from their home page or their features page, but if you dig really deep (as in go stare at their Twitter feed for a few minutes), you will see that they have a blog. It is here, at the Aircus blog, that I learned they just implemented the ability to have multiple pages and to allow users to enter their Google Analytics code.
Beyond this, I haven’t any idea what to expect regarding search engine optimization capabilities. #beggingformoreinfo
Blog Features?
Don’t know.
Ease of Use
No clue. I even searched on YouTube and Vimeo for anything about this tools. Hey there, Aircus dev team, I am digging hard to help you out, but you have to put up some information somewhere on your tool.
Use Your Own URL?
Yes, you can use your own domain with the Aircus website builder.
My Initial Impression
Umm, I think there’s some good groundwork happening at Aircus, but I don’t think they have enough built into their tool yet to compete with Wix, Jigsy, or Weebly’s website builder, to name a few who each have well-developed tools.

Even though I made it for people who are getting ready to hire a web pro, 80% of it will help you if you are building your site on your own.
