Webs.com Website Builder Review: Customizing Header and Changing Themes

I decided to try to customize the header of my Webs.com website. This didn’t go so well. This is actually the least flexible feature in the Webs.com Website Builder tool I have run into so far.

Things that went well

  • I was able to figure out how to customize many aspects of the header quite easily
  • I could put images into the header, which was a step in the right direction
  • I was able to change themes very easily

Things that were very tedious

  • I couldn’t get my header the way I wanted it at all because I couldn’t get it the proper height to accommodate the images from my design
  • I would like a theme that allowed me to move anything around and resize as I pleased, like a blank canvas

Overall Impression

This was the the first time I just gave up on the process. There was no way to get what I really wanted. So if you are into having your design a particular way and aren’t willing to compromise, Webs.com website builder will frustrate you.
