The website builders are listed from lowest score to highest score.
Wix.com Website Builder
Score: 18.5/20
Pros: You can have a Wix account for as little as $4.08 a month
Cons: They don’t seem to have a mobile responsive version of the site, just a special mobile-friendly nav bar.
Webstarts Website Builder
Score: 19/20
Pros: They have lots of videos at the ready to teach you how to use their website builder.
Cons: They might or might not support Google Analytics, still not sure.
WordPress.com Website Builder
Score: 19/20
Pros: They are used by millions and WordPress is extremely search-engine friendly.
Cons: The WordPress.com version of WordPress is a lot more limited in functionality than the self-hosted version.
Virb Website Builder
Score: 19.5/20
Pros: Gorgeous designs.
Cons: Doesn’t appear to be drag and drop, but there are lots of video tutorials.
Weebly Website Builder
Score: 20/20
Pros: They have a free account level.
Cons: They are not clear what one gets for a free account.
Jimdo Website Builder
Score: 20/20
Pros: A free account level with lots of neat features!
Cons: No custom domain or custom email with the free account.
Basekit Website Builder
Score: 20/20
Pros: They have gone out of their way to clearly define almost everything about their product, which gives me high hopes about using it.
Cons: I am not sure about one thing: what is their blogging feature like? Don’t fret, though, I shall find out soon and share with you!
