Webstarts claims they are a “free website builder” and that your “free website will be online in just minutes” and that “anyone can use our website builder.” Really? Let’s see…
Industry Specific?
They do the same thing that most website builders do by offering many templates that will work in many scenarios. They don’t seem to have any industry-specific tools.
Pricing
There are three pricing tiers. They have a free tier, a Pro tier, and a Pro+ tier. Their most expensive tier is $7.16/month.

Mobile?
Yes. They claim their tool will show your website in “all its grandeur” on tablets and phones.
In What Browser Does the Website Builder Work?
It doesn’t say, so I’ll go with the assumption that it works in the most modern browsers, like Chrome, Firefox, and IE 10.
Search Engine Optimization?
They claim their websites are search engine friendly. They have an SEO wizard, allow custom “alt” attributes on your images, and allow for sitemap submission. All good things. I had to dig for it, but I did find where they mention they have web statistics. It doesn’t say you can put in your own third-party tracking, but at least you will see some form of visitor information.
Blog Features?
Yes.
Ease of Use
They say it is super easy… And they have a video to show you exactly how easy it is. They have tons of videos, actually, for various features on their site. Yay!
Use Your Own URL?
Yes!
My Initial Impression
You know, their home page isn’t a work of art. I was a little worried at its clunky appearance, but they are amazing in presenting their information. Really. This review was super fast to write because it was so easy to find all the information I wanted. To me, this says that they will deliver on the “easy to use” claim. If you care enough to spell everything out and show videos on how to use multiple aspects of the builder, I believe you have cared enough to create a great tool and you will deliver on wonderful customer support. #happy.
